At a time when things are becoming less clear and more confusing, a time when money is tight and some are wondering how it all got this way, there is a small chink of light at the ned of a long dark tunnel. That chink of light is an innovative new service introduced by media services organisation As Is Media. In addition to their very competitively priced Web Stores and Web Sites As Is Media have just unveiled their latest innovation; On line disc duplication order processing. Adrian Sandelance, founder of As Is Media, seems to be reveling in the new concept.” It was an obvious progression for us,” he said. “ We already had the service in place and access to the technology, we just had to marry the two.” As Is Media's on line ordering processing allows established clients to log into their accounts and order multiple copies of existing masters that are held by As Is Media. New clients avail of the system by placing their order and then posting or couriering their masters and artwork to the As Is production unit. “Each order receives a unique code” stated Adrian.” The codes are the key to maintaining the system that ensures the artwork stays with the master and is printed to the correct copies,” he said, “ Our production guys can then pack the discs off in sleeves, cases, or leave them on a spindle, whatever your order choice is.” As Is Media aim to cut their client's administration time and and speed up the order processing at their end. “ One piece of paper generated by the order system tells us all we need to know about the job” said Sandelance. With everyone looking at costs this online ordering process certainly makes everything easier on re-orders, but how do the clients like it? “We beta tested the system with two major clients who thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We programmed in their discount volume scheme, gave them, and only them access to their own product lines, and asked them to utilise the system for ordering for a two week period, “explained Adrian. “ Their response was 100% positive”. Although initially aimed at business As Is Media now want to take the system into the music sector by holding masters for bands wishing to sell CDs at their gigs. “ They can order on line and we can even deliver to the venue if they wish,” said Sandelance. A4 letterheads, A5 flyers and business cards are a speciality. Utilising Taiyo Yuden standard inkjet and Watershield discs, our printing services are carried out on continuous inkjet print systems that automatically load and unload the media in and out of the printer. We then duplicate, copy or burn CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R and Dual Layer Discs. After duplication we package your copied discs with your printed material (Front Liner, Back Liner, DVD Case Insert), in the box of your choice, Slim or standard Jewel Case, slim or standard DVD Case, Ejector (or trigger pack) case, Clam Shell, paper or plastic sleeve, before dispatching to you. In addition our manufacturing extends to pressed discs. CD-ROM, DVD5 and DVD9 discs are all catered for. Should you require our replication services please email us for a quotation.
